Bufab’s Nomination Committee appointed
The following members have, in accordance with the procedure adopted by the Annual General Meeting, been appointed to the Bufab AB Nomination Committee.
Liljedahl Steel Wire strengthens its position in Germany Liljedahl Steel Wire, part of Liljedahl Group, has signed a contract about acquisition of the operations of the German company J.P. Hüsecken & Comp. GmbH & Co. KG in Hagen, Nordrhein-Westfalen. J P Hüsecken manufactures flat-rolled wire for customer unique applications and is one of the leading companies in Europe in this area.
Liljedahl Steel Wire, under the brand name Hörle Wire, is one of the market leaders in the Nordic region in the bright wire and flat-rolled wire product areas, and one of top five in Europe in armour wire for land and submarine cables and also fine wire. The products are used in many areas, for instance, transfer of power and in data communication, for shop and kitchen fittings, in furniture manufacturing, construction business and for baling within recycling and pulp businesses.
This acquisition shall be seen as a step to further strengthen Hörle Wire’s position in Europe. Both the European market organisation as well as the distribution system will be enhanced. Hörle Wire’s European market organisation includes Sweden, Slovakia and Germany and covers all products manufactured in Hörle, Nitra and Hagen.
