Ravema appoints Alexander Olander as the new Managing Director - spearheading the beginning of a new era
As of September 1, 2023, Alexander Olander will be stepping into the role of the new Managing Director of Ravema AB. After ten years in the role, Jörgen Fredsson will step aside and focus on further developing the parent company Pronect AB as a CEO.
With a MSc in Mechanical Engineering and 15 years of experience in manufacturing, Alexander Olander was the natural choice when searching for Jörgen’s successor. He has been part of Ravema’s diverse team since 2016. He started his journey as the Business Area Manager for Service and has for the past years been responsible for the Machine business.
Jörgen Fredsson believes that Alexander Olander will make Ravema AB grow even stronger in the future. He says:
“After almost ten years, it is time for me to hand the mantle over to new forces. Alexander has had the overall responsibility for the Machine Tools part of Ravema for quite some time, but the legal responsibility has been with me. I am confident Alexander will be able to grow the business sustainably and ethically, keeping our customers as happy as they are today.”
In a dynamic field such as manufacturing, it is important to have someone aboard who understands and can adapt to the changing needs of the customers. Alexander’s vision for the future revolves around sustainability and manufacturing excellence. He says:
“As the new MD at Ravema, I am proud to be part of a company that has always had the ambition to be at the forefront and offer our customers the absolute best in machine tools, metrology, and automated solutions. I look forward to leading Ravema into the future, challenging ourselves to continue to be innovative and reliable partner for our customers. Together with our highly experienced employees, we will keep creating success stories for the unforeseeable future.”
The manufacturing industry is moving faster than ever before, and the changes are palpable. By appointing Alexander Olander as their new Managing Director, Ravema is giving their customers security and peace of mind. Having recruited internally is a telltale sign that Ravema surely holds their customer’s best interests in the highest regard. Knowing the market, the customers, and their needs is crucial in times like these.
The business area Tools will continue in an unchanged manner with Anders Jinglöv as responsible.
Best of luck to Alexander Olander and Jörgen Fredsson in their new endeavours.
